With the below animatic I have used sound scores and voice over to help the audience have a clear sense of the story's narrative .I have created this animatic to fit into the
three act story structure. Act one will the opening scene were the
audience will hear sound scores ,of crickets and the same time signifying a normal
world .Act two is when we hear sound scores of a gorilla wail, tree branches breaking,
doors pulled ajar, loud wails and chest thumping .Act three is when we hear
alien like sounds and chiming wind. I have also included a voice over narration
to help myself and the audience to visualise the story behind.
This animatic provides me
with the opportunity of assessing the
scene by scene timing of movement .I have made some images to play a lot longer
on the screen in relation to the pace of those particular scenes. Also, this
animatic will act as a reference point as in regards to which scenes I will
need to exclude or include in the final animation.
This animatic was done in storyboard pro
software because I found it easier to work with it when composing animatic. It was easier for me to marry the voice over narration and the sound scores as I tried to push the narrative forward.
Above is the final animatic that I will be referring to during the
production of the animation.
Below is the rough animatic I created before adding voice narration to it
